The Witches Cemetery
Patti
Starr is the
President and owner of Ghost
Chasers International, Inc., which is based in Lexington,
Kentucky. She leads an
experienced, accomplished, group of investigators with a goal to prove
that life goes on even after death.
Patti sets out to find and document paranormal activity in the
field of ghost hunting with modest equipment such as the Dr.
Gauss EMF meter, Multidetector
II Profi, Cell
Sensor meter, and the Raytec
Mini Temp.
Her
investigative research for ghosts includes electromagnetic field
detection, observing electrostatic field disturbances, capturing
anomalous images with infrared videography,
3-D photography, digital
photography, 35 mm photography, recorded EVPs (Electronic Voice Phenomena) with audio recording devices, monitoring
the temperature with laser thermal scanners, along with other advanced
techniques to collect data. Patti
substantiates these findings by catching anomalies in her photos and
videos, in addition to EVPs being captured on audio recorders and
videos, along with the recorded results of the devices she uses to
measure temperature changes and electromagnetic field disturbances.
What We Did - Samples We Brought Back
Aug 16, 2001 Preliminary Investigation
I met James (the psychic) there and he wanted to show me around. I
wasn't there 10 minutes and I got a sharp pain in the back of my leg on
my calf like a bite or pinch. I yelped out and the psychic claimed that
I was pinched by one of the females there and she was trying to get my
attention. Well, she got it alright and I carried the bruise for a week.
I started immediately to use my cassette recorder to see if I could get
a voice and I got Chuck to start snapping pictures. I wasn't going to do
an investigation, just a check through for my class, but with that kind
of activity I didn't want to miss an opportunity at getting something.

So
Terrible
I got 3 voices within minutes after I started recording and I was only
at this place less than 30 minutes because we had other appointments. I
was kneeling down with the recorder in my hand as I picked up a leaf. I
told Chuck about the leaf having some sort of fungus on it and you can
hear a male voice say, "Ah, so terrible". It turned out to be
a great investigation for the small amount of time we spent there.

The picture
reminds me of a coffin. It has a purple color and a thin blue line
outlining the top side of the shape. The headstone reads 1833 and a
female who died when she was 48. The only thing I can think of is maybe
she's trying to tell us that her coffin is pointing in the wrong
direction for her stone. This is such an old site and once when the city
sent workers to clean it up and cut down some of the trees their
equipment stopped working after they cut down the first tree. The had
several saws but each one would stop before they could cut another tree
down. They ended up just cleaning up and pulling weeds up and that's
about all they could do because they never could get their saws to work.
I don't know if this is the case but maybe some of the headstones were
moved and this is my message from this lady.

One very interesting thing about this photo is how it appears to be
"floating" above the ground. Note how there is no distortion
of the apparition at the intersection with the tree and ground.

Sep 08, 2001 Second Trip
Before taking the class to the cemetery, I made a second trip (8/18)
at night with a magazine reporter. The following are some of the
anomolies I collected on this brief trip.

These two pictures show photo anomolies that look like some sort of
mist.

I also captured this very strange UFO-sounding EVP.
