Jonathan Huber, Certified Ghost Hunter
Why paranormal investigation? It’s because it involves so many things that I already enjoy. I started working with audio and video equipment my freshman year in high school and haven’t stopped since. So that’s something I have a personal knack for, and we get to use both in almost every investigation. I also like to work with electronics, something that plays a big role in our investigations as well. That is for example, using EMF meters and infrared thermometers for help in finding paranormal activity, or disproving it. Lastly it’s being able to logically break down a situation and work out what the possible causes are.
As far as my experiences with the paranormal go, I never really had any until the beginning of this year even before joining the group. My wife and I started investigating on our own in early 2007. We started our investigating at Hannah House in Indiana where we got our first EVP’s. This is where I also saw my first shadow figure pass in front of a window. Our second independent investigation was to Mansfield State Prison in Ohio where I had been touched by something that wasn’t there. And the big stop on any investigators list, Waverly Hills TB Sanatorium in Louisville. We came away with some good EVP’s and we saw some things I can’t explain. Usually in places that are claimed to have paranormal activity, I feel at home and never uncomfortable. Waverly was the first place we had been that I witnessed something and got cold chills.

Ruth Huber, Certified Ghost Hunter
My interest in ghosts and hauntings started when I was in elementary school. I would read every scary book I could get my hands on, especially the "Scary Stories to Tell in the Dark" series. When I was older, I glued myself to the television and watched scary movie after scary movie. I admit that I have had a few restless nights where sleep was short in coming due to the shadows and darkness in my room. More recently however, my interest and enthusiasm in the paranormal has multiplied ten-fold during my work with PINK.
My favorite part of investigating is going through the audio evidence. It is such a thrill to find a mysterious voice or sound that wasn’t audible during the investigation. Where did it come from? Why did it appear on my recorder but I couldn’t hear it? Is it really the voice of the deceased?
I believe the most important part of our work in the paranormal field is helping those who have questions or are scared. As a researcher, I feel that it is important to approach our work in a scientific manner and disprove claims that have a logical cause or explanation. The paranormal field may not have all the answers to all of the questions yet, but maybe one day we will have definitive proof of ghosts and spirits.

Jennifer Kirkland, Certified Ghost Hunter

I am married and have two boys, ages 2 and 10.  I am a registered Sonographer and Radiologic Technologist.  My husband and I share a common interest in the paranormal.  I believe there is more out there than what you can see with the naked eye.  I am interested in finding hardcore evidence of this "other" side.  I also feel that people who experience this type of activity often don't know where to turn.  I  want to be available to these people and help them to understand what is going on and that there are things that can be done to help.  I am constantly trying to learn more about the field.

In the spring of 2007 I met up with one of the most wonderful and knowledgable people in the business, my beloved, Patti Starr. From here on I wish to help as many people and answer as many questions about the paranormal that I possibly can. At the same time, I want to document these kind of activties scientifically, in order to prove the existance of the paranormal. You can find my contact information at spirithunters-ky.com.

Fortunately, she met Chip Coffey who immediately introduced her to Patti Starr.  Claudia is sensitive to the energies around her, loves investigating and keeps a healthy skepticism when doing so, looking for explanations before jumping to paranormal conclusions.  By day, she works as a legal assistant.  She lives in Atlanta, GA.

Cynthia Spicer, Certified Ghost Hunter

Cynthia's interest in the paranormal began as a small child where she grew up close to a cemetery.  She walked the stone wall surrounding the markers and talked to those buried there.  Her preoccupation with all things paranormal led to her completing the certification program.  She joined Ghost Chasers International, Inc. in 2002. Cynthia is scientific in her methodolgy and enjoys experimenting with equipment in the search for undeniable proof. She emphasizes electronic voice phenomena (evp) because voices are harder to dismiss than photos and video.  "An orb or face can be your eyes playing tricks on you; a voice answering your question is phenomenal!"

Cynthia is developing her psychic awareness by opening her senses and trusting her instincts while remaining vigilant by utilizing protection techniques.  During investigations, she takes note of unusual sensations and collaborates those feelings with photos, video, and evps in order to mesh the psychic with the scientific.

She became a co-founder of The PIT Krewe when she realized that it was important to investigate with others who shared her philosophy of helping those in need.  Cynthia has an awesome family, a love for animals, and can drop it like it's hot. Click here to email Cynthia.
